Shipping Policy
1. Vehicle Delivery and Pickup
BARSTOW MOTORS INC sells vehicles primarily through in‑person transactions at our dealership located at 154 Market Street, Potsdam, NY 13676. We encourage customers to inspect vehicles and complete paperwork at our showroom. For customers who cannot visit our dealership, we can help arrange delivery within the continental United States using bonded transport carriers. Delivery is not included in vehicle pricing unless expressly stated and will be quoted separately based on destination, vehicle size and shipping method. All transportation fees must be paid in full before the vehicle is dispatched. Once dispatched, we will provide a carrier name, estimated delivery timeframe and tracking information. Risk of loss passes to you when the vehicle is delivered to the carrier. We are not responsible for delays caused by carriers, weather or other factors beyond our control.
2. Merchandise, Parts and Accessories Shipping
We ship non‑vehicle items—such as apparel, replacement parts and accessories—through recognized carriers.

Processing Time: Orders are processed during business hours Monday through Friday (excluding holidays). Orders placed after 3 p.m. Eastern Time are processed the next business day.

Shipping Methods and Rates: At checkout, you may select from standard, expedited or overnight shipping options. Shipping costs are calculated based on product weight, dimensions and destination zip code. From our location in Potsdam, NY, standard delivery typically takes 3–7 business days; expedited and overnight options are available for an additional fee.

Free Shipping: Occasionally, we may offer free standard shipping promotions on qualifying orders. Terms will be specified on the promotion page.

Order Tracking: Once your order ships, we will send an e‑mail with a tracking number and link so you can monitor delivery status. You can also log in to your account on our Site to view order details.

Multiple Shipments: If your order contains items that are back‑ordered or ship from different warehouses, you may receive multiple shipments at no additional cost. We will notify you if your order is split.

International Shipping: At this time we do not ship merchandise outside the United States. International customers may contact us to explore special arrangements, subject to additional fees and customs requirements.
3. Pickup Option
Customers in the Potsdam area may choose to pick up merchandise orders at our dealership to save on shipping costs. Select “In‑Store Pickup” at checkout and we will notify you when your order is ready. Please bring your order confirmation e‑mail and photo ID when collecting your purchase.
4. Shipment Issues and Insurance

Damaged or Lost Packages: If your order is lost or arrives damaged, notify us within 5 business days of the delivery date (or expected delivery date for lost shipments). Provide your order number and any photos of damage. We will file a claim with the carrier and work with you to send a replacement or issue a refund.

Signature Requirements: Orders over a certain value may require a signature upon delivery. If you authorize the carrier to leave packages unattended without a signature, you assume responsibility for any loss or theft that may occur.

Back‑Orders: If an item you ordered is temporarily out of stock, we will notify you with an estimated restock date. You may choose to wait, substitute a similar item, or cancel that portion of your order.
